Azure Infrastructure & App Migration Services in Dubai, UAE & USA
The ERP runs on a VMware host that is out of warranty, the SQL server is on 2014 and the hosting contract renews in ninety days. Moving those workloads to Azure is the obvious answer; moving them without breaking the business is the hard part.
M365 Enterprise Hub delivers Azure infrastructure and application migration services for organizations in Dubai, across the UAE and in the USA. We migrate virtual machines, SQL databases, web applications and line-of-business systems from on-premises or other clouds into Azure, right-sized, secured and backed up from day one. What Is an Azure Infrastructure & Application Migration?
An Azure migration moves the servers and applications that cannot be replaced by Microsoft 365 into Microsoft Azure. That includes Windows and Linux virtual machines, SQL Server and other databases, web applications, file and print servers, domain controllers and legacy line-of-business systems.
Sources range from VMware and Hyper-V hosts in your office, to co-located hardware, to workloads on AWS or another cloud. Azure Migrate discovers and assesses them; our engineers decide whether each one is rehosted, replatformed or refactored.
The Azure project usually follows the Microsoft 365 stages of an on-premises to cloud migration, once identity is in Entra ID and users already work from the cloud.
Azure Migration Strategies We Deliver
Every workload is assessed against the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework options. Choosing the cheapest strategy per workload, rather than lifting everything as-is, is what keeps the Azure bill under control.
Rehost (Lift and Shift)
VMware, Hyper-V and physical servers replicated to Azure Virtual Machines with Azure Migrate, cut over in waves with minimal change to the application.
Replatform to Managed Services
SQL Server moved to Azure SQL Managed Instance, web apps to App Service and file servers to Azure Files, cutting patching and licensing overhead.
Cloud-to-Cloud & Hybrid
Workloads migrated from AWS or other providers into Azure, or kept hybrid with Azure Arc, ExpressRoute and site-to-site VPN where local presence is required.

Why Migrate Infrastructure and Applications to Azure?
Windows Server 2012 and SQL Server 2014 are out of support, and extended security updates are free only in Azure. Hardware refreshes, hosting contracts and data-centre power in Dubai or Dallas all cost more each year while delivering nothing new.
Azure gives you a 99.99% availability SLA, built-in backup and disaster recovery, Defender for Cloud security and the Azure Hybrid Benefit that reuses your existing Windows and SQL licences. UAE organizations can keep workloads in the Microsoft UAE North and Central regions for data residency.
Our Azure Infrastructure & Application Migration Services
From a single ERP server in Dubai to a multi-rack data centre in the USA, our Azure migration services cover discovery through to optimized operations:
Discovery & Azure Assessment
Azure Migrate discovery, dependency mapping, performance-based sizing and a total cost of ownership comparison for every server and application.
Landing Zone & Network Design
Subscriptions, management groups, virtual networks, ExpressRoute or VPN, identity integration and policy guardrails built to Microsoft best practice.
Server, Database & App Migration
VMs replicated and cut over, SQL and other databases migrated with Azure Database Migration Service, and web applications moved to App Service or containers.
Security, Backup & Cost Optimization
Defender for Cloud, Azure Backup, Site Recovery, monitoring and cost management configured, with reservations and hybrid benefit applied.
Azure Migration Risks We Prevent
Azure projects fail on dependencies, networking and cost rather than on the migration tooling itself. Our cloud engineers design these risks out before replication starts:
- Applications breaking after cutover: Dependency mapping captures every server-to-server, database and service-account link so workloads move together.
- Latency and connectivity problems: Network design, ExpressRoute or VPN sizing and DNS changes are tested with the pilot wave, not discovered after go-live.
- Runaway Azure costs: Right-sizing from real performance data, reserved instances, hybrid benefit and auto-shutdown schedules are applied from day one.
- Unprotected workloads in the cloud: Backup, disaster recovery, Defender for Cloud and network security groups are configured before production traffic arrives.
Our Step-by-Step Azure Migration Process
- Discovery & Assessment: Servers, applications, databases, dependencies and performance data collected with Azure Migrate and ranked by migration strategy.
- Landing Zone Build: Azure subscriptions, networking, identity, governance policies and security baselines deployed and reviewed against the Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Pilot Migration: A non-critical workload group is replicated, tested and cut over to validate networking, performance and the runbook.
- Wave Migration & Cutover: Workloads replicate continuously and cut over in planned waves with rollback, user communication and post-cutover validation.
- Optimize & Hypercare: Right-sizing, reservations, monitoring and cost alerts applied, documentation handed over and two weeks of hypercare delivered.

Azure Migration FAQs
A handful of servers and one database can be assessed and migrated in four to six weeks. Larger estates with dozens of servers, several databases and complex networking typically run over three to six months in waves, with each wave cutting over in its own maintenance window.
Rehosting moves a server to an Azure virtual machine with no change to the application. Replatforming moves the workload to a managed Azure service, such as Azure SQL Managed Instance or App Service, which removes patching and licensing overhead but needs more testing. We recommend per workload based on cost and risk.
Yes. SQL Server 2008 through 2022 databases are migrated with Azure Database Migration Service to Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure SQL Database or SQL Server on Azure VMs, with minimal downtime and full validation of data and performance.
Yes. Azure has UAE North (Dubai) and UAE Central (Abu Dhabi) regions. We deploy workloads there when UAE data residency is required. US organizations use US regions with the same approach.
Workloads are sized from real performance data rather than existing hardware specs, reserved instances and the Azure Hybrid Benefit are applied, non-production servers get auto-shutdown schedules, and budgets with alerts are configured in Azure Cost Management before go-live.
Yes. Azure Migrate supports discovery and replication from AWS and other environments. We handle the networking, identity and licensing differences and cut workloads over in waves exactly as we do from on-premises.
Yes. M365 Enterprise Hub delivers Azure migrations for organizations in Dubai and across the UAE as well as for US companies, with cutovers scheduled around each region’s business hours.
