Intune Migration FAQs
Enabling co-management and shifting workloads for up to 500 devices usually takes four to six weeks including design and pilot. Larger estates with many applications and sites run over two to three months in rings, with SCCM retired at the end.
Not in most cases. Windows devices can be migrated in place from SCCM, group policy or another MDM with scripted enrolment while user data stays intact. Devices on some third-party MDMs, and most supervised iOS devices, do require a reset, which we plan with Autopilot or Apple Business Manager.
