Azure Security Services & Defender for Cloud in Dubai, UAE & USA
The secure score reads 41 percent, there are three storage accounts open to the internet that nobody remembers creating, and the auditor wants evidence that every VM is monitored. Azure gives you every control you need; the gap is configuring them consistently across every subscription.
M365 Enterprise Hub delivers Azure security and Microsoft Defender for Cloud services for organizations in Dubai, across the UAE and in the USA. We assess your Azure estate, deploy Defender for Cloud across servers, databases, storage, containers and Key Vault, enforce guardrails with Azure Policy and connect everything to Microsoft Sentinel so threats are seen and stopped. See all our cloud services or call +971 50 743 7958. Our Azure security services are delivered as a fixed-scope engagement for organizations in Dubai, across the UAE and in the USA, with every control documented before handover.

What Are Azure Security Services?
Microsoft Defender for Cloud is Azure’s cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP). It combines cloud security posture management (CSPM), which continuously scores your configuration against benchmarks such as the Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark, CIS, NIST and PCI DSS, with cloud workload protection (CWP) plans that detect and block attacks on virtual machines, SQL, storage, containers, App Service, Key Vault and DNS. It also covers AWS and Google Cloud accounts from the same console.
Azure security is wider than one product. A complete programme layers Defender for Cloud with identity controls in Entra ID, network segmentation from our cloud networking and firewall architecture service, policy guardrails from the landing zone and SIEM correlation through managed Microsoft Sentinel. Our Azure security services are built on Microsoft Defender for Cloud, so posture scores and recommendations can be checked against Microsoft’s own documented baseline.
Azure Security Layers We Deliver
Attackers do not care which product catches them. We build Azure security as three layers that reinforce each other, so a weakness in one is covered by another.
Posture Management (CSPM)
Defender CSPM with secure score, regulatory compliance dashboards, attack path analysis and Azure Policy initiatives that stop misconfigurations before they are deployed.
Workload Protection (CWP)
Defender for Servers, SQL, Storage, Containers, App Service, Key Vault and DNS, with vulnerability scanning, file integrity monitoring and just-in-time VM access.
Detection & Response
Defender alerts, Azure Activity and resource logs streamed to Microsoft Sentinel, with analytics rules, automation playbooks and response runbooks for your SOC.

Why Azure Security Needs a Deliberate Design
Azure is secure by design but not secure by default. Storage accounts, SQL servers and VMs can be created with public access in minutes, Defender plans are off until someone enables and pays for them, and Owner rights spread across subscriptions faster than anyone tracks. UAE regulators, PDPL, the UAE Information Assurance standard and US frameworks such as NIST CSF, HIPAA and SOC 2 all expect continuous monitoring, least privilege and evidence. Defender for Cloud produces that evidence automatically once it is configured properly, and a secure score above 85 percent is achievable for most organizations within a quarter. Pair it with our Azure security hardening and compliance services for audit-ready proof.
Our Azure Security & Defender for Cloud Services
Whether you need Defender for Cloud switched on correctly across a handful of subscriptions or a full Azure security programme with Sentinel and compliance reporting, every engagement follows the same sequence.
Azure Security Assessment
Secure score baseline, exposed resources, privileged access review, network exposure, encryption and logging gaps mapped against the Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark and your regulatory framework, with a prioritised remediation plan.
Defender for Cloud Deployment
Defender CSPM and workload protection plans enabled per subscription with cost modelling, agentless scanning, vulnerability assessment, Defender for Endpoint integration and email notifications for your security team.
Guardrails, Identity & Encryption
Azure Policy initiatives for allowed regions, encryption, private endpoints and tagging, Privileged Identity Management, Conditional Access for Azure management, Key Vault and customer-managed keys where required.
Sentinel Integration & Response
Defender alerts, Activity logs and diagnostic logs connected to Microsoft Sentinel, analytics rules tuned, automation playbooks for common incidents and runbooks so your team knows what to do when an alert fires.
Azure Security Gaps We Close
These are the findings that appear in almost every Azure assessment we run. Each is closed by a configured control rather than a policy document.
- Publicly exposed storage, SQL and VMs: Private endpoints, firewall rules, Azure Policy deny rules and just-in-time VM access remove internet exposure and keep it removed.
- Defender plans off or partially on: Every workload type covered by the correct plan, with costs modelled per subscription so protection is complete and predictable.
- Standing Owner and Global Admin rights: Privileged Identity Management, role-based access reviews and break-glass accounts replace permanent high privilege.
- Alerts nobody sees: Defender and Activity logs streamed to Sentinel with analytics rules, notifications and playbooks so detections become actions.
Our Step-by-Step Azure Security Process
- Assessment & Baseline: Secure score, regulatory compliance, exposed resources, privileged access and logging reviewed across all subscriptions, with findings ranked by risk.
- Security Design: Defender plan coverage, policy initiatives, identity controls, encryption standards and Sentinel architecture agreed with your security and compliance owners.
- Defender & Policy Deployment: Defender for Cloud plans, Azure Policy initiatives, PIM, Conditional Access and Key Vault configured subscription by subscription with no service interruption.
- Remediation & Validation: High and medium recommendations remediated with your teams, exposure re-tested and secure score and compliance dashboards verified.
- Monitoring Handover: Sentinel rules, playbooks, runbooks and reporting delivered with training, plus optional managed security monitoring.

Why Choose M365 Enterprise Hub for Azure Security
Our security engineers have secured Azure estates for banks, healthcare providers, government-linked entities, education and professional services firms in the UAE and the USA, and we run Microsoft Sentinel for several of them. We know which Defender plans matter for which workloads, how to keep the Defender bill proportionate and how to turn recommendations into audit evidence.

Azure Security & Defender for Cloud FAQs
Foundational CSPM, including secure score and basic recommendations, is free. Defender CSPM and workload protection plans are priced per resource per month, for example per server, per SQL server or per storage account. We model the cost per subscription before enabling anything so there are no surprises.
Enabling and tuning Defender for Cloud across a typical estate of a few subscriptions takes two to three weeks. A full Azure security programme with policy guardrails, PIM, Sentinel integration and remediation of existing findings usually takes six to ten weeks.
Yes. Defender for Cloud connects to AWS and GCP accounts and applies posture management and workload protection to them, giving a single secure score and compliance view across all three clouds.
Defender for Cloud generates alerts; Sentinel correlates them with identity, email, endpoint and network signals, retains the logs and automates response. Most regulated organizations need both. We can run Sentinel for you through our managed Azure Sentinel service.
Yes. Defender for Cloud includes regulatory compliance dashboards for ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, SOC 2 and the Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark, and we map controls to UAE PDPL and Information Assurance requirements so you have continuous evidence for auditors.
No. Defender plans, policies and agentless scanning are enabled without restarting resources. Agent-based features such as Defender for Endpoint on servers are rolled out in maintenance windows agreed with you.
Yes. We deliver Azure security and Defender for Cloud services remotely for US organizations, mapping controls to NIST CSF, HIPAA, SOC 2 or CMMC as required and working within US business hours.
